1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Remainder mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not install or use the app.

It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Alert reminders (including medication and hydration prompts) are designed for convenience and should not be relied upon as the sole method for critical health or dosing regimens. Always consult with a healthcare professional regarding your health and medication schedules.
2. License to Use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Remainder application for your personal, non-commercial purposes on device(s) owned or controlled by you.
Under this license, you agree not to:
- Modify, copy, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the app.
- Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
- Use the app for any commercial or unlawful purposes.
- Sublicense, lease, rent, or distribute the app to any third party.
3. Local Data and Device Storage
Remainder functions on an offline-first model. All reminders, schedules, medication lists, and user configurations are stored directly in your device's local memory. You acknowledge that if you delete the app, clear app storage, or format your device, any data entered into the app may be permanently lost. We are not responsible for any such data loss.
4. Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remainder and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to:
- Missed alarms, reminders, or notifications due to device settings, system updates, battery management (Doze mode), or software bugs.
- Inaccuracies in sleep logs or routine analysis.
- Data loss, device damage, or system interruptions.
5. System Requirements and Updates
To use Remainder, you need a compatible mobile device. The app requires permissions such as notifications and alarm scheduling to function correctly. We may from time to time release updates or new versions to address bugs, add features, or improve functionality. You agree to download and install updates as they become available to ensure the best performance of the app.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
The Remainder application, its logo, design, user interfaces, branding, and assets are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You do not acquire any ownership rights by using the app.
7. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that state or location.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to revise or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. By continuing to use the app after modifications are published on this page, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.
